Tell us your Cardiff story

We’re looking for people to participate in We Are Cardiff, a voluntary project where we’re collecting the stories of people that live here. To qualify to play, all you need is to be living in Cardiff at the moment.

We’ll arrange a photoshoot with you at a location in Cardiff – if there’s a particular spot you’d like to choose, otherwise we’ll find somewhere for you. We’ll show you all the pictures before we publish them so you’re happy with the ones we’ve picked.

There’s no word limit to your Cardiff story – it can be as short as one paragraph, as long a thousand words, it can be a narrative, it can be in the third person, it can even be a poem. You might want to write about what you love, or what you hate about Cardiff – maybe tell us about your neighbourhood and what makes it different from other places in the city. Maybe you’d like to tell us about a special place in Cardiff, or about a memory of an event or time. Whatever it is, we want to hear it.

We’re also interested in referrals of people who might not be online, especially grandmas or grandpas who have lived in Cardiff all their lives.
